Summer Arts Camp

Since 2003, High Desert Living Arts Center has hosted an annual Summer Arts Camp for children aged 5-13 that attracts 100-130 participants. Besides being a great way to escape the desert heat, Summer Arts Camp is a chance for local students to receive hands-on artistic instruction in a variety of techniques. Projects include clay sculpting, painting, life drawing, papermaking, music and theater. Each student receives a broad introduction to many elements in art study.

Summer Arts Camp at HDLAC is becoming one the most exciting summer events for children in our community. The response HDLAC has received from kids, parents, teachers, and volunteers has been very enthusiastic, and Summer Arts Camp is firmly rooted in public support.

Summer Arts Camp last for 5 days in July and costs students $5 a day, with scholarship opportunities available.

If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering or donating money to make this event possible, please inquire at the Living Arts Gallery. As with all donations to HDALC, contributions in support of Summer Arts Camp are entirely tax deductible.
