Chuckwalla is our annual local music festival that just celebrated its third successful year this summer – and attendance is growing by 30% each year! As part of HDLAC’s ongoing effort to provide specialized education to the children of this community, the Chuckwalla Music Festival merges art and community support to raise money for a good cause. Every year, the Chuckwalla Music Festival showcases a variety of local music talent to raise funds and exposure for Summer Arts Camp at HDLAC. All Chuckwalla musicians agree to donate their time to play for a local audience, and admission to the festival is $5 per day. With over 100 local musicians donating their time, as well as support from dozens of local businesses, Chuckwalla is becoming a premier local music event in the Morongo Basin.
